PRAYER REQUESTS

For the government of Canada, the provinces and municipalities/regions that the elected representatives will govern with God's guidance and avoid abuse of the trust given them.

For the National Board of Directors of FCPO Canada that God will guide and support them in their work and that He will provide the FCPO with opportunity for ministry to all peace officers and their families.

For the unsaved peace officers who work with you that they receive Jesus Christ.

For Diakonos Retreat in Calgary that it continue to flourish and for the continued interest in establishing a Diakonos Retreat in Ontario.

For all those police officers alone on patrol in remote and rural areas and for corrections officers walking the jails. Their safety most often depends on their professionalism and wit in dangerous situations.

For Houston Police Department Sergeant Terry Horton's four-year old daughter, Tara. She is suspected of having Arnold-Chiari Malformation.

For FCPO member Neville Eccleston (Toronto Police Sergeant) and his family on the passing of his wife, Monica, Feb 14, 2005.

For FCPO National Board Director Mike Cassidy recovering from 2 heart attacks and FCPO National Board Director Irene Cassidy recovering from surgery.

For long serving FCPO member and founder in Canada, retired Toronto Police Staff Supt Harold Bennett and his family on the passing of Harold's wife Gwen on May 30, 2005.

Hello.. Hello.. Anyone out there?

We are looking for input from all over Canada. PEACEMAKER would like to share your stories with the rest of our readership. There is a wealth of testimony, events and inspiration waiting to be told. From the east tip of Newfoundland to the farthest western island in the pacific; from Point Pelee to the Arctic shores there are peace officers receiving and reading PEACEMAKER.

This is your magazine and is meant to be of inspiration and information for you and your family. It would be much improved if you told us about a church event for peace officers, an incident where the Lord focused His attention for peace officers or whatever else is happening in your part of Canada.

Please submit articles to peacemaker@fcpocanada.com

Thank you
